STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

Before we left, my flatmate told me that Stratford-Upon-Avon was where grandpas went to die. So I already knew it was going to be right up my street.

CHOCOLATE SPONGE SELFIE

If you read this blog because you like keeping up with where I'm traveling, try again later. If you like self-indulgence and chocolate sponge cake, then this is the post for you.

This has been on my list for a while now, and it was only a few days ago that I finally finally found mini chocolate sponges in Marks & Spencer. Every year, I find I remember less and less about the four years I spent growing up in England. The things I can remember to miss have dwindled down to a collection of scents, TV shows, and food. This is one of them and YES it is just as delicious as I remember.

Bye now, I have an important meeting with Netflix.

WISH LIST // 1

So it has come to my attention that I've been spending money. Quite a lot of money. And I'm doing it quickly with little regard to what I'm actually purchasing and I just looked at my bank accounts a few days ago and now I'm terrified and oh no oh no I'm probably ordering food again tonight even though I have perfectly adequate food in my fridge.

With a trip to Barcelona coming up (have I mentioned that here yet?) and my past financial mistakes behind me, I've decided to make a list of what I actually genuinely want in these next few months so I can spend wisely to get them. Or *****H1nT hInTTT m0m & d@D ChR15TM@5******** <---- secret coded message.

1. Creepers. Still determining from where. I don't want to pay 12 pounds for a shitty pair at Primark but I also don't want to pay over 100.
2. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. $43.00 (mother of god) (at least that's in dollars) (i'll stop talking)
3. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bolero. £17.50
4. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Sex Machine. £17.50
5. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square. £17.50

BRISTOL

Omg is this going to finally be a travel post where I have epic tales to tell and beauteous pictures to reveal rather than snaps of the food I ate?

BITS OF BATH

Our time in Bath was so short that I had originally planned on not posting about it. But I stumbled across these pictures while clearing out my memory card and figured it's too pretty a city not to share.

BRICK LANE

In case it hasn't been made clear to you yet, we went to Brick Lane.

I had done a cursory exploration of Brick Lane in London a few weeks back where I determined that everyone there was cooler than me and quickly scuttled away. But I returned with some henchmen this time, and we hit the vintage stores like any college students who spent all of their per diem on a cocktail that is served in a small replica of a bathtub the night before would: cautiously.

RETAIL THERAPY

A local shopping center in the city was having a student lock-in on Wednesday, which just meant that from 6:30-9:00 PM our student discount was doubled at select stores. Obviously, there was only one store that I cared about. Now watch me pretend to be a fashion blogger.
